Traditional Chinese Acupunture
Acupuncture is a complex healing system which has been practised in China for over 4000 years. When we are unwell it is a reflection of our physical, mental or spiritual body being in disharmony. The purpose of acupuncture is to treat the disharmonies by re-balancing the body’s natural energy flow, known in China as Qi (Chi), ensuring Yin and Yang energies are in harmony. This is achieved by inserting very fine needles into specific points on the body, tapping into the natural Qi system. The body is then offered the ability to re-balance itself and return to a state of good health and harmony.

Sports Massage is a treatment that has been developed for those involved in sporting or physical activity but anyone can have one. Massage will help to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility, to prevent injuries and, in the case of sports people, prepare for peak performance. Sports massage can help prevent those niggling injuries that so often get in the way of performance and achievement, whether a person is an athlete, a once a week jogger or just physically active.
